Alicia Keys Announced to Sing Super Bowl National Anthem for 2013

We already know for a while that Beyonce will perform the Super Bowl 2013 Halftime Show. What we did not know until this weekend is who will sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl 2013. The NFL and CBS announced that Alicia Keys got this prestigious singing accolade. This is her third time performing at Super Bowl.

Alicia Keys is a 14 time Grammy-award winning R&B singer. The latest album of Alicia Keys is titled "Girl on Fire" and was released end of last year. Past Super Bowl anthem performers included Kelly Clarkson, Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Whitney Houston, Harry Connick Jr., Garth Brooks, Natalie Cole, Luther Vandross, Jewel, Cher, Faith Hill, Mariah Carey, Dixie Chicks and many more.
