Former "Think Tank" IC2 (Institute for Creativity & Capital) Global Programs manger, Mark Gipson, founded the Austin start-up, Virtual Tour App less than one year ago and is now taking on tech giant Google in the virtual-tour market worldwide. VTA has already produced HD/HDR 360x360 interactive virtual tours for Austin landmarks and is now expanding its reach domestically and internationally.

Austin, TX, December 16, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Austin, Texas based Virtual Tour App (VTA) is using the latest software, production equipment, advanced photography techniques and embedded multimedia to create state of the art virtual reality applications that are rapidly defining the future of this new industry. Specifically tailored as sales, marketing and branding tools, VTA’s virtual tour technology fulfills a rapidly expanding niche market with high quality HD/HDR photography that can be experienced in every tour they produce. Virtual Tour App has already produced high definition interactive virtual tours for Austin landmarks like: Dell Children's Medical Center, Circuit of The Americas F1 race track, Mozart's Coffee Roasters on Lake Austin, Barton Springs Pool and the Austin International Airport.

Virtual Tour App is headquartered in Austin, Texas and is currently expanding into key US domestic and international markets. "We appreciate Google's efforts to legitimize the industry we specialize in but Virtual Tour App takes users beyond Google street view," said VTA’s founder & CEO Mark Gipson. The tours work on across all platforms and mobile devices and don't require any software or downloads to view. Users access VTA tours featured on the clients website and can experience the tours on mac, PC, desktops, laptops, tablets and smart phones.

Virtual Tour App (VTA) is a full service HD/HDR 360X360 virtual tour production company with worldwide production capability. VTA specializes in media and content creation, and embedding multimedia into the tours. For example anything that is in a website can now be embedded and given a sense of place within the VTA tour. So a user can click on the sweaters on the shelf and add them to the companies existing e-commerce shopping cart system. Another key concept behind VTA tours is showing the connections between places visually with integrated interactive tour maps.

VTA tours are hosted on high speed cloud servers so they can be edited and updated over time. Virtual Tour App can also create private password-protected areas, tours for education and corporate training and other customized, large-scale industry initiatives.

Virtual Tour App now has production teams in Austin, Dallas, Houston, LA, Las Vegas, Denver, Chicago, Honolulu, NYC, Miami and Northern California. VTA has traveling production teams available worldwide for international projects, and business development teams in Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, India, Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
